[edit] short and long

The term "type modifier" appears in the usage pages of the four keywords short, long, signed, and unsigned. A scan of n1570 reveals that this term does not appear in the standard. While we might informally think of short, long, signed, and unsigned as modifying types, these two keywords appear in 6.7.2 as type specifiers. I propose correcting the titles of the links. Here are two suggestions: (1) replace "modifier" with "specifier"; (2) follow the format which appears in the usage pages of int, float, and double, ie "short type: as the declaration of the type" etc. Newatthis (talk) 05:11, 19 November 2014 (PST)
